Testing Center Policies

  • For final exams, students must obtain a “final exam excuse” from Advising.
  • We do not provide testing accommodations provided by ARS. These students MUST go through ARS to complete testing.
  • The Testing Center should be notified through the available form at least 48 hours in advance of the exam to be proctored.
  • Proctors are NOT responsible for technical issues or troubleshooting Respondus Lockdown issues.
  • Students must come to the Testing Center with a UNC One Card or other official (e.g., state-issued) form of picture ID.

Applicable Fees

  • For currently enrolled UNC-Chapel Hill students there is no charge.
  • For students currently not enrolled at UNC-CH there is a $50 exam fee charged to the student. This fee can be paid in cash, online, or by check prior to testing. Checks can be made payable to “UNC”.
